Our dental crowns are custom-designed for your teeth.
Provide the strength and vitality a damaged or decayed tooth needs.
Metal-Free Crowns – Available at The Beresford Clinic
Your crown will be crafted from beautiful porcelain or ceramic – we never use metal for our dental restorations.
Porcelain and ceramic are two of the best materials for mimicking the functional and aesthetic properties of real teeth.
How Can Crowns Benefit Me?
Crowns can be used to address:
- Cracked Teeth
- Weak Teeth
- Damaged Teeth
- Worn-down Teeth
- Decayed Teeth
Crowns – The Process
The crown process is generally carried out over two appointments.
During the first appointment, your dentist will remove the decay affecting your tooth, and reshape it, ready for your crown.
Digital dental impressions of your teeth are taken so that our trusted dental technicians can create a crown that fits seamlessly over the top of the damaged tooth. Whilst you wait for your final crown to be ready, we will fit you with a temporary tooth, giving you the freedom to chew and bite as normal during the 2-week wait for your new crown.
Dental crowns that go the distance
The materials we use recreate the look and feel of real tooth enamel. They are highly sustainable and protective, capable of withstanding everything that happens in your mouth on a daily basis.
Our promise to you is that your crown will go the distance, lasting for between 10-20 years.
During your routine dentist and hygienist appointments, we will show you how to prevent issues like erosion and decay.
Restoring your smile with custom-made onlays
We may recommend an onlay instead of a crown in cases when:
- If your tooth is heavily damaged or has been root-filled, we may use an onlay to restore your tooth’s natural shape.
- The tooth is worn or broken, or you have a discoloured filling. We can use onlays to improve the shape and aesthetic of the tooth.
A seamless treatment experience
Our treatment process is entirely digital, making everything minimally invasive and straightforward. Digital dentistry helps us complete your treatment in fewer appointments, with no compromise on quality.
