If you’ve lost one or two teeth, single dental implants can restore your smile in the most natural way possible.
Restoring your smile for life
A single dental implant is a replacement tooth root, functioning just like a real tooth. This long-lasting tooth replacement solution is a fixed option, sitting in the jaw, unlike dentures and bridges.
Once our implant is placed within the jaw by your dentist, it behaves just as a natural tooth would. The jawbone grows around the implant during the healing period of 3-6 months, and a bespoke crown is placed over the top, giving you restored chewing and speaking function.
The benefits of dental implants
- Your bespoke crown will look just like a real tooth. We use premium toothlike materials such as porcelain and ceramic, which mimic real tooth enamel and dentine. Our talented dental technicians shape the materials to create the natural-looking curves and grooves of real teeth.

How do implants work?
Dental implants mimic the function of real tooth roots. Once a crown is placed over the top, they look and feel almost exactly like real teeth – in fact, there isn’t a better way of replacing missing teeth.
Once the titanium implant has integrated with your jawbone, a long-lasting marriage is created, protecting the life and health of your jawbone. The fixed nature of implants means that, unlike dentures, they won’t move around in your mouth, and unlike bridges, they won’t cause wear on other teeth.
Replacing multiple lost teeth
Is there more than a single gap in your teeth? No problem. Implants can replace multiple lost teeth. If you have more than two missing teeth, we may suggest implant protocols such as All-on-4 and implant-retained dentures, which are cost-effective solutions for replacing a higher number of missing teeth.
FAQs
How much will my implant cost ?
Single Implants – From £4500
(including ceramic crown start)
Are implants painful?
The gum around your tooth is numbed with local anaesthetic, so you won’t experience any discomfort during the procedure.
Our patients often tell us that they’re pleasantly surprised by how straightforward and atraumatic the process is, reporting minimal swelling and post-procedural pain.
Our dentists use minimally-invasive techniques and technology that minimises post-procedural complications, making our implant surgeries extremely successful.
How long do implants last?
Implants can last in excess of 20+ years.
With the correct care and lifestyle (avoiding smoking and adhering to the correct hygiene advice and routine), there’s no reason why your implant can’t last all your life. Your crown may require replacement after 15+ years.
How many appointments are needed to get an implant?
Getting dental implants typically takes 3–6 appointments.
After your implant is placed, we allow a healing period of around 3–6 months to ensure it fuses securely with your jawbone, creating a solid foundation.
During this time, a temporary tooth can be fitted so that you won’t have any visible gaps. Once the implant has fully integrated, we will fit your custom, tooth-coloured crown.
For All-on-4 implants, both the implants and bridge can often be completed in a single appointment, allowing you to leave with a brand-new smile!
Am I suitable for an implant?
Thanks to huge strides in the world of implant dentistry, most people are able to have implants.
We carry out a CT scan to check the quality and quantity of bone, and we can do a bone graft if necessary to strengthen the jaw bone.
Can I have an implant if I smoke?
We don’t generally recommend implants to smokers, as smoking dramatically affects the healing period, cutting off circulation to the gums and preventing healing altogether.
If you would like to be eligible for an implant, we can point you in the direction of stopping smoking services, so that you can become a viable candidate once you have quit.
